Four Electric Vehicles Embark on 80 Day Trip Around the World
There are stringent rules, of course. Teams can charge up wherever they please, but all EV charging must be offset with credits from sustainable energy producers. Even so, the trip will be cheap — Australian team TREV estimates that the whole journey will cost just $360.

Colourless Coke Cans
A convex logo is not only good for the environment as it does not contain any paint and can help to reduce air and water pollution but at the same time it seems to create a nicer look and a more premium value. Instead of toxic paint, manufacturers process aluminum with a pressing machine that indicates brand identity on surface. This definitely will work for well-established brands such as Coca Cola.

But Resilient Technologies has also been working on an airless tire and the company recently announced that prototypes of their honeycomb-like tires which will ship in 2011 for use in the US military.
