Artists for Japan

When tragedy strikes we are all effected and want to do whatever we can to help those in need. After last Friday's earthquake and tsunami in Japan lots of people are in desperate need of help. Different artists have graciously donated their talent to create these three meaningful and unique Help Japan posters.
All the proceeds from the sales will be donated to benefit the Japanese disaster relief fund. The first poster by James White, above, is available at the Signalnoise Store.

Shanghai preparing for Expo starting in May

The theme of the Expo is "Better City, Better Life", and is scheduled to run from May 1st until October 31, 2010. In recent months, large construction and renovation projects have dominated much of Shanghai, in preparation for becoming the World's stage on May 1st.

'The door to perception' - Toyotashi, Japan

We were in Toyotashi, Japan, recently and visited the exhibition called 'The door to perception' at the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art. Just like to share a few images with you all and if you are in the neighborhood, please go and visit as you really have to see it to understand and experience the installations. Really worth a visit ;-)

The 'CO2 Cube' in Copenhagen

An installation by Alfio Bonanno and Christophe Cornubert, the “CO2 Cube” , will be placed in Copenhagen, Denmark, due to Barack Obama's visit to the city for the United Nation Framework Convention. This ton of CO2 represents the amount of Carbon Dioxide emitted each month by each average person in the developed world, although for the States this represents just 2 weeks of CO2 emission.
